College of Phlebology London Award (2018)

We are proud to share that our original in-house research on Recurrent Varicose Veins Treatment authored by Dr. Saurabh Joshi, Dr.Ashwini Joshi, and Dr.Rohit Basapure was awarded the best presentation at the College of Phlebology London’s International Veins Meeting in March 2018. This paper talks about strategies to treat recurrent varicose veins and its impact on transforming the current practice of treating primary varicose veins. We identified the causes of recurrence of varicose veins in patients who were treated by open surgery and laser by older techniques at other centers and treated those causative veins that cured them. This helps us treat our primary patients in a more comprehensive manner, giving you a long-lasting cure.

Venartis Phlebology Innovation Award (2018)

In 2018, Dr. Saurabh Joshi, a leading vascular specialist and the driving force behind Vein Center, Mumbai, received international recognition for his contributions to the field of phlebology by winning the esteemed Venartis Phlebology Innovation Award. This accolade, presented in Zurich, Switzerland, is one of the highest honors in the field of venous medicine, celebrating groundbreaking advancements and innovative practices in the treatment of venous diseases.

Dr. Joshi was recognized for his pioneering work in the development and application of advanced techniques in the treatment of varicose veins and venous ulcers. His approach, which combines state-of-the-art technology with a patient-centric philosophy, has significantly improved the outcomes for patients dealing with these often painful and debilitating conditions.

Appreciation Certificate from Medtronic (2019)

In 2019, Dr. Saurabh Joshi, a leading vascular specialist at Vein Center, Mumbai, was awarded an appreciation certificate from Medtronic, a global leader in medical technology. This recognition was in honor of Dr. Joshi’s remarkable achievement of successfully treating over 500 patients using the VenaSeal closure system since its launch in Asia in 2018. Today, Dr. Joshi and the Vein Center have achieved an even greater milestone, having treated over 2,500 patients with VenaSeal, making them the number one provider of this treatment in Asia.
