Frequently Asked Questions
Is there any cost to join?
None at all. The Vein Angel Program is completely free. It’s our way of thanking patients who help others find care they didn’t know was available.
Do I need medical knowledge to participate?
Not at all. You’re sharing a health awareness card and your personal experience — not giving medical advice. You simply connect people to us, and we handle the clinical evaluation from there.
I'm not very comfortable with technology. Can I still participate?
Of course. Your clinic coordinator can sign you up during your visit — no forms to fill. You’ll receive everything on WhatsApp, which is as simple as forwarding a message. And if someone you know doesn’t use WhatsApp, just tell them to call The Vein Center and mention your name — we’ll credit you.
What if my referral doesn't end up getting treated?
That’s perfectly fine. Your contribution is recognised when they complete a consultation, regardless of whether they proceed with treatment. Not every consultation leads to a procedure, and that’s how it should be.
Can I refer someone from another city or country?
Yes. We have clinics across Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Kolhapur, and Dar es Salaam (Tanzania). We also offer online consultations for patients anywhere in India or internationally.
Will my name be displayed publicly?
Only if you choose. The Wall of Gratitude is completely opt-in. Many Angels prefer to participate privately — and that’s equally valued. The programme works the same way regardless of your visibility preference.
How do I know when my referral has consulted?
You’ll receive a WhatsApp notification when your referral books a consultation. If someone calls the clinic and mentions your name directly, our staff will credit you and notify you.
