Dr. Purva Khandelwal is the Principal Anaesthesiologist at the Vein Center. She has over ten years of experience in Anaesthesiology and critical care. She is focused on ensuring the procedure to be comfortable, stress-free and with lowest level of pain while ensuring the highest standards of safety and striving towards the earliest post-procedure recovery. She is proficient in minimally invasive anesthesiology procedures like peripheral nerve blocks and epidural analgesia for procedure related pain relief in the awake patient. She is the driving force behind evolving procedures towards better pain relief with the freedom early post procedure mobilization.
Dr. Purva has several publications to her credit across international and national medical journals pertaining to the field of recent developments in inhalational anaesthesia, peri and post operative pain management, cancer pain and critical care. She is an active member of Indian Society of Anaesthesiology and Indian Society of Study of Pain.
Dr. Purva has worked with several eminent institutes including Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Tata Memorial (Cancer) Hospital and Grant Medical College (Sir JJ Hospital).
She completed her MBBS and MD from the prestigious Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh.
